Finally KBox!

Went to K Box (Marina Square) with colleagues. I didn't touch the mic for more than half year. I nearly forgot how the microphone looks like. ;P Yeah! Today finally I can sing as many as I could. Wahahaha! because not many of them like to sing. They just came to support me (joking). =P Actually this is our small gathering in non-working-hour.
We choose K lunch package, from 11am - 2pm (3 hours). This covers 1 set lunch and 1 soft or hot drink. My Fish fillet set lunch:

Some busy chatting. Some singing. Some staring on screen. Some always get ready for photo shooting. =P

Lee's Christmas Party

Lee invited us to his Christmas party. Her wife prepared us their hometown cooking. First time I have chance to try out Philippine cuisine. Normally we can find various kind of meat in Philippine cuisine, from chicken, pork to fish. Since now is Christmas season, they never forget to prepare us turkey meat as well. I admit that I'm not interested in Pasta at all, but I ate 2 plates of pasta that night! Why? Because it's really delicious!! I should give her wife a kiss because she prepared us a special dessert - sticky rice. She spent a lot of time and energy on it.
According to Lee, they have to sing us a song or play guitar when guest visit their house. This is to show that they are welcoming us to their house for dinner.

Dinner & Dance Night 2008

Company's annual dinner was held at Shangri-la Hotel, Sg. It is located at Orchard Road but not convenient to go by MRT. Therefore SW and I shared cab to attend dinner. This year's theme is "A Black & Gold Affair". Absolutely everyone has to wear in black and gold.

First time being served like a Queen. No need to take food myself. Waitress/waiter will always be there to serve you. =P Everyone deserves to have 2 glasses of wine or beer. Neither one I can drink, but I insisted to try wine and I gave another glass to my colleague. 2 Ferrero Rochers being given to each guest.
The ballroom is really really grand. 600 peoples gathered in this ballroom.

Day 5 - Kowloon

30 November 2008 (Sunday)

E4, LCC, WCC and I woke up early to Wong Tai Sin. Before that, we had our breakfast at restaurant. I ordered french toast since heard that it is delicious and famous in HK.

We took MTR from Mongkok to Wong Tai Sin. A lot of people came to pray on weekend. We bought joss stick (HK$ 10). Since I already here, why not try to 求签? Hehe... We have to pay HK$20 for 解签.

12pm we checked out of hostel and headed back to Macao because we don't want to miss flight. We took ferry from Tsim Sha Tsui Ferry Terminal to Macao Ferry Terminal. It took us 1 hour, but this time the weather is good and all of us fall sleep in the ferry. Once reached Macao, we headed to Macao airport. Simon's father and I stayed in airport to look after the luggages, and others went to Macao Island again to buy some biscuits or souvenirs for friends/relatives/family. I have asked E4 to buy me some biscuits again from there, so that I can bring back for my family + colleagues.

Outside Macao International Airport:

Inside Macao Airport:

Second time backpack to overseas. First time is when travelled to Singapore. =P This trip is tiring but meaningful. At least I ate what are famous in local. At least I have been visited to most of tourist attractions in HK and Macao. Bye Macao and HK!!

Day 4 - Lantau Island / Yau Ma Tei / Mongkok

29 November 2008 (Saturday)

E4, LCC and I had an early breakfast at the restaurant nearby before heading to Lantau Island.

We took MTR from Mongkok to Tung Chung. Once reach Tung Chung MTR, we followed sign board to Ngong Ping 360 cable car station. To Giant Buddha, you can either take bus 23 or cable car. Since today not many people queue up for cable car, we bought a round-trip package to Giant Buddha which cost HK$88.

While waiting for cable car, this lil boy try to play hide and seek with me. So cute! We even sit in the same cable car. Wahaha! =P

Scenery from cable car. Sunny day.

Once reached destination, we first passed by Ngong Ping Tea House and Ngong Ping market.

We ate 山水磨石豆腐花 at one of the kopitiam when on our way to Giant Buddha. The sugar is in yellow color.

Po Lin Monastery:

Giant Buddha just right in front of Po Lin Monastery. I'm at the foot of Giant Buddha.

Now we have half way to reach Giant Buddha.

Finally we're at the top. Yeah! Mission completed! ;P

Some photos taken at the top:

Wisdom path, which lead us to the way that can gain more wisdom. I just did my wisdom tooth extraction surgery, so I definitely need some wisdom back! =P Crap!

Way back to Tung Chung MTR. We shopped around at CityGate - the shopping complex that near to Tung Chung MTR. A lot of branded outlet in it. We shopped around until 4pm. LCC and I bought a pair of NB shoes respectively. I found it cheap, that's why I buy it! Only HK$ 189. The NB shoes I wearing for trip now already costs me RM150++. I am NB's fan! =P

After shopping, we went back to Mongkok. In MTR, we saw a lil cute baby girl. She just sit right beside us. SO sweet! How come today I meet so many cute baby girl and boy! =P

We bought some biscuits in 奇华饼家. After that we have our dessert at 发记甜品 that recommended by LCC's HK colleagues. We orded durian pancake that also higly recommended by her colleagues. It is so delicious.

At night, we wandered around at Temple Street. Nothing special to see or buy. So we decided visit Fa Yuen Street.

Before bed time, LCC and I went to Hui Lau Shan dessert house again. E4 is too tired, so she just slept at hostel.

28 November 2008 (Friday)

At first I thought it won't be many people go to Ocean Park on weekday. I'm wrong! There was long queue waiting for city bus 629 to Ocean Park when we came out of Admiralty MTR.

Modern building in Admiralty:

Thanks to Edith for giving us 2 discount vouchers, so that we can get cheaper entrance tickets.
Flamingo Pond:

LCC, WCC and E4 got to queue up for Mine Train. And I be their photographer who trying hard to capture every moment of their ugly expression. Hehe! =P

Dolphin show. First time I watched dolphin show in Sentosa, Sg. I feel that dolphin show in HK is more interesting.
Sea Jelly Spectacular:

We had our lunch here. Tada! MacD's sausage MacMuffin! What so special? because it is pork. ;P

After lunch, we took cable car to Panda House.

We have the chance to see giant pandas Le Le, Ying Ying, An An and Jia Jia. But.... I don't know who is Le Le, Ying Ying, An An or Jia Jia. =P
