Day 2 - Central / Tsim Sha Tsui

27 November 2008 (Thursday)

Never make our life regret on something. Therefore we went down and look for famous Portuguese egg tart again before we depart to Hong Kong (yesterday the shop closed). Yea! It's really great! The shop Cafe e Nata is opens!! We bought 11 Portuguese egg tarts since we have 8 person and 3 of us (Me, E4 and LCC) would like to eat 2 respectively. Hehe! Delicious!

After breakfast, we headed to Taipa Ferry Terminal and took ferry to Sheung Wan, HK. The ticket costs us HK$ 100 per person. The weather was not really good on that day. The wave was too high and it makes the ferry shaking all the way to HK. Luckily none of us vomit in the ship, but we feel really dizzy.

We all feel better after we stepped on Sheung Wan. We took MTR from Sheung Wan to our hostel which located at Mongkok. It is not an easy job to travel with big luggage. ;P

Once reached Mongkok and out of MTR station, I could never believe that Mongkok is such a crowded place.

After asking the direction from people, we manage to find our hostel - Dragon Inn Ah Shan Hostel. Only few minutes walk from MTR. Yeah! This will be great for us for the following 4 days.

The building where we stayed. Is it look so familiar? I think this type of building always show in TVB drama.

Our room:

After checked in and settled our luggages, we had our lunch at restaurant nearby. I ordered 水饺面 and soy bean. The 水饺面 tastes strange.

First destination would be in Central area. We travelled with MTR from Mongkok to Central. I found out that Hong Kong has a lot of beauties and handsome guys, even the police also in good looking. =P

Tram in Central:

On our way to look for mid level escalators, we stopped Li Yuen Street East a while for shopping. I bought 2 scarves with the price HK$ 39 each.

Finally we were in the mid level escalators. It is world’s longest covered escalator with 800-metres long.

Soho. It's area which you can find good food, great coffee shops and funky bars.

Victoria Prison:

Lan Kwai Fong. It is a buzzing centre of clubs, bars and restaurants. A must for night owls and people-watchers.

Before it gets dark, we headed to Tsim Sha Tsui for "Symphony of Lights" performance. We reached there at 6pm. We walked around Avenue of Stars to take some photos. =P

Acting starts in Avenue of Stars

Scene 1: E4 and I are 'kissing'. Look like 2 sumos in the fight. ;P

Scene 2: Someone discover our unusual relationship. Oh My!

Scene 3: LCC is the one who discover our relationship. So E4 try to fight with her. Unfornately E4 get hurt in the fight.

Scene 4: WCC is slapping LCC for hurting her sweetheart E4. huh?! triangle relationship?! =P

Last Scene: Happy Ending.

Haha. Just for laugh =P

8pm sharp, the performance "Symphony of Lights" started. The weather was cold. We hardly walk at all especially in this windy night. -_-'''

After the show ends, we moved quickly to look for shelter to keep warm. We went back to Mongkok because LCC need to catch up with her colleagues in Hong Kong.

Around 10pm, we met up with LCC's colleagues - Edith and Karen in different time. Edith is so friendly. She brought us to 义顺 in HK to eat 双皮奶 again. =P I still miss the one in Macao. I feel that this one is not as delicious as the one in Macao. After that, she showed us how to find a way to few places like 荣华饼家, 发记甜品, 奇华饼家, Esprit Outlets in Mongkok, and etc. She accompanied us walk around Ladies Market and taught us some tactics to get cheaper price. Haha! Thanks a lot. Before she leaves, she even treated us 超辣鱼蛋. Wah! It's really spicy. Help!!! I need water!!!

E4 and I shared 鸡蛋仔.

The night is still young for us although it is already 1130pm. E4, LCC and I went to Dessert house Hui Lau Shan to eat dessert. Weather is still cold, or maybe colder than before. But we still insist sit in air-cons restaurant and enjoying our dessert - 什果燕窝杨枝金捞. Wah! Syok! Icy cold!

Before we headed home for a good sleep, we went to drink some herbal tea. Below is 五花茶 from 芝宝堂.
