Japan Day 5 - Tokyo

8am we checked out from Route-In Hotel. I never know that scenery outside the hotel is so fascinating… vividly can see Mt Fuji… Goodbye, Mt Fuji! Will miss you always!

We stopped at Crystal House before continue our journey to Tokyo… I bought crystal earrings for my mum as her birthday present… It costs around RM100++….

It was bad traffic on the way to Tokyo… Normally it is only takes 45 minutes to reach Tokyo but today it took about 2 hours to reach Tokyo because today was actually their public holiday …

Bus stopped at Hibiya Park… Look at the green and soft grass on the ground… This makes me want to have a nap under the tree… ZZZZzzzzz….

We walked across the street and reached Imperial Palace… We only stopped there half hour for photo capturing…

A statue… I forgot the name of this captain… ;p

Lunch time again… Check out the pics below:

The restaurant is near to Asakusa Kannon Temple, also known as Sensoji Temple… Sensoji is a Buddhist temple located in Asakusa, the center of the shitamachi… About 3 minutes walking, we already reached its outer gate – Kaminarimon…

There is another shopping street called Nakamise which will lead us to the main gate of temple… dozens of stores selling a variety of souvenirs… And definitely I hunted a lot souvenirs here… :D

The main gate, Hozomon:

Next destination was Akihabara Electrical Town… I’m not interested to by any electrical equipment, so Kel and I just stand beside and tasted our Crepes (Japanese-typed ice-cream)… It is enjoyable especially under the damn hot sun…

We headed to Toyota City Showcase… what we did there? What else, just pretend we’re the owner of the car, snap a picture, and walk away lo… hehe…

Odaiba Palette Town just next to Toyota Showcase… This shopping and entertainment complex consists of Venus Fort, Sun Walk, Mega Web, a Ferris Wheel and Zepp Tokyo (a large concert venue)… Venus Fort is a shopping mall in the style of a 18th century South European town. It features more than one hundred boutiques, shops, cafes and restaurants, targeting a mainly female audience.

Ferris Wheel … this 115 meter tall ferris wheel is one of the world's largest and offers nice views of the bay area.

Next we took monorail to Tokyo Bay in order to take harbor cruise to view Tokyo city… Inside the monorail…

Statue of Liberty…. This is the first picture we can use to cheat people… haha… We still in Tokyo, but not US…

This is the cruise we took to enjoy the view of the city…

Golden Gate Bridge???? No, it’s Rainbow bridge in Tokyo… again, the second picture which can cheat people…. Haha…

Sunset, nice?

After enjoy in the cruise, we headed to Ginza… it is the most exclusive and expensive shopping area in Japan…

Last destination of the day was Red-Light District, Shinjuku…

Today was the most tiring day… and very lucky that our room upgraded to Deluxe… We checked in to Shinjuku Keio Plaza Inter-Continental Hotel… yeah! Better environment, better scenery…
