马拉松式聚会

I came back to Penang for 2 days, just to celebrate my birthday and meet up as many friends as possible. I really appreciate although we only can gather for few hours.

Thanks to Neo for treating me breakfast/lunch before I left office and caught a flight to Penang. Thanks to SWuay, Lee, Patrick, Mogana for the birthday wishes.

I reached Penang at 810pm (20 minutes earlier than expected). WCC fetched me from airport and both of us rushed to Joo’s house. My first gathering was held at Gurney Coffee Bean. Liew and her husband were waiting for us there and ST supposed to join us but she couldn’t make it. It was too bad because Liew only able to meet me for few minutes. Next time I should arrange to meet her up and chat whole night. =P Thanks to Liew for the star lantern. It is so beautiful. That night I really very happy and we laughed crazily in the car and in the Coffee Bean. WCC purposely flew to Penang, just to see me for 4 hours. Thank you so much. WCC gave me 2 pairs of ear rings as birthday present whereas LCC, E4 and Joo gave me a love-shaped necklace as birthday present. I know you all love me very much. :”> I shy~ I love those presents very much.

I have a gathering with my ex-colleagues. Really appreciate that you all come to meet me up at Starbucks. Joseph, Sharon, OSK , CF, PGTan and CMun gave me a cat-face pillow as birthday present. Meow~ Thank you so much. OSK gave me a turtle key chain and wish me "long long life". Careen also came to see me outside the Mizi restaurant and gave me a pair of flower ear rings. It’s so lovely. Thanks.

Sunday morning 9am, another gathering was held at 红茶馆 (opposite Sunshine Farlim). I so glad that you all still as funny as before. Glad to hear the good news from Shirley and Poon as well. Congratulation ya! =) I am happy you all are here to have a simple breakfast with me – Sfong, Sim, TSiew, Sophia, Shirley, Poon and Whan as well as a surprising call from Wee Hong. Thanks. Pig, you will leaving Penang soon. I will miss you again. We can only meet through webcam. =P

12pm Sora brought me to RedBox KTV. I didn’t visit this place for some times. I love to singing but I sore throat that day. -_-‘’’ Sora gave me a watch as present. It’s so gorgeous. I love it very much. Thanks for preparing me such surprising birthday in RedBox. I love the cake! I love the candles as well! so cute!

I met a long lost friend at Tea house. She is Siew Hooi. Last few weeks Chistine and I just talked about her. And I met her before I left Penang. =) Nice to see you again! Christine, I met SH already!! =P

This trip was really tiring but it’s sweet in my heart. Finally I am able to meet my friends up. Thanks to those who wrote me birthday wishes in Friendster/Facebook – Catherine, Linda, Goh, Albert, Mic, See Wei, Izza, Wei Shen, Kek, CLian, Liz and ST. Thanks to those who sent me a message before my birthday, on my birthday and after my birthday – SiewFong, Hui Yong, Yip, Khon, SWuay, Lena, CChuan, Eunice and Kooi Seow.

I'm so happy. I am able to complete the best piece of work before my birthday. I am able to wire cut my name on steel (work piece). It is so worthy that I put so much effort on learning machining program and operates the machine. Now I saw my result. Yeah! I feel really good! ^_^

Great Training Life

I have to go through 2 month’s training in Application department before continue my work in R&D. It’s really fun having training there. People are friendly and willing to share out their knowledge. Sometimes they are just like kids, joking around the showroom.

Lee, my ‘father’ in Application dept. He always says that he is old enough to become my father. Great! I get a father for FREE.

Lee: I old enough to become your dad. You want to be my daughter?
Me: Hmm… not bad to be your daughter also.
Lee: Why?
Me: At least I get my birthday present in my birthday, my CNY angpao in CNY, Christmas gift in Christmas day. Ohya.. weekly/monthly pocket money!
Lee: -_-‘’’ *run away immediately*

So now, knows my company uniform already. Everyone wears the uniform, no matter you’re managers or engineers. Unless you’re the one need to meet customers/clients or canteen untie/uncles or cleaners/gardener/safety guards. Many people always complain that it’s ugly especially ladies lor. For me, I still can accept it because I no need spend money in dressing up myself everyday. =P Think positively, I can spend my money in buying dinner dress/outing fit. Normally I won’t wear like this after office hour. I will change to casual before out of office.

Morning at East Coast Park

世秀和我终于聚在East Coast Park。我们先约在Bedok MRT, 然后再乘德士往East Coast Park去。后来我们才发现可以在Bedok MRT乘搭公车401号可直接到达East Coast Park。

一抵达ECP，我们都好兴奋哦！到处拍照的，无可否认，ECP真的好漂亮，当然槟城都有这些沙滩，对我们来说应该不足为奇才对，但我们都好久没去槟城海边啦。=P

当然我们要尝试新的拍照技巧，要知道我们绝对需要很大的勇气去拍以下的动作，炎阳高照下，我们不管外人的眼光，我们为艺术牺牲（夸大了~ =P）

一开始有点不好意思，毕竟要在这么多人面前跳。真不容易，又要顾动作，又要顾表情，终于我了解模特儿的辛苦了。 =P

我们在Old Town Cafe 用餐，都点了虾面，我想念的味道！还有丝袜奶茶和牛油kaya烤面包，好好吃。

吃完了午餐，我们继续沿着ECP走，一路上的风景都好美，我们约好了，我们会到不同的景点去摄影，好期待！

Novotel Hotel Clarke Quay

I have to take 7am MRT from my house to Clarke Quay MRT station in order to attend mid-year talk which given by company CEO. It takes me 45 minutes to reach Clarke Quay station and walked another 10 minutes to Novotel Hotel Sg. Why not take cab? because MRT cheaper mar... =P

The talk was held at Novotel Hotel Clarke Quay from 830am to 1pm. Before the talk starts, we have 15mins coffee/tea with light refreshments. And then tea break happened from 10 to 1020am with second round light refreshments being served. The presentation continued until 1230pm. Out lunch buffet started after this. Therefore we being served like Kings and Queens within this short 5 hours. =P
