Personalized Wedding Favor

Initially I intended to order mini wedding cupcakes for every of my guests. After that I found the cupcakes not really suitable as a wedding favors in outdoor wedding reception because it will melt under warm weather. During the time searching high and low in forum, I found One Tree Modern Wedding Stationery which able to personalize wedding favors based on customer's preferences. I was deeply interested in using polo mint sweets as wedding favor. Bride and groom's name, as well as wedding reception date will be printed on the wrapper. As my wedding theme is Tiffany blue, so wrapper background color is light blue. Special meaning of door gift:

Simply "MINT" to be together

Garden Wedding at Lone Pine Hotel

I'm so grateful to have a garden wedding in my life. Of course I have to thank my hubby for his tolerance and understanding, as well as his appreciation on my efforts. Wedding preparation is really an exhausting job, but I believe that I will no regret as I enjoyed the process very much. From selecting gowns, pre-wedding photo shooting, hotel venue reservation, to deciding wedding favors, DIY guestbook, and etc. My friends and family always ask me why I make myself so tired. I agreed I feel tired throughout the preparation, but I feel contented as long as someone appreciate my efforts. ^__^

Lone Pine hotel is my first choice in venue list. The hotel near to beach, and the wedding venue will be held in the garden, right beside the beach. The reception starts before sunset, so that our guests are able to see sunset while mingled around. To avoid unexpected weather, transparent marquee tents have been prepared to ease our worries.

Tiffany blue and white is our wedding theme. Love the fresh floral stand and those flower decorations on table which is prepared by Lone Pine. Tiffany blue and white colored lanterns are prepared to create smooth ambient.

Live band is never excluded in my wedding plan. I love English old songs. Engaged Starz Live Band one year before my wedding reception and found out they are super great in performance.

Everything was so perfect with all my friends and family attended.

Last but not least, thanks to my lovely friends who help out in my wedding. I believe you all really enjoying the moment especially during photo-taking session.

By the way all these photos was taken on 9.10.11. Yup, you're right! My wedding was held last year October 9. Sorry for almost-one-year late posting. ^____^ I will share more about my DIY items and honeymoon trips in the coming entries. Keep in tune!

Bali Day 4 - Ubud & Tanah Lot

[20 March 2011]

Today we'll going for local full day trip with private driver and tour guide. Whole package costs IDR 400,000 (approximately S$ 52) for 2 person. We have pre-booked the tour package through this WEBSITE before we flew over. Mr Wayan Sudiana (our driver of the day) fetched us from villa at 8.30am. Here we go for our first destination in Bali - Barong & Keris Dance at Batubulan village! ^__^
Since it was still early for the show, we stopped at Ubud Art Village and learned how's the people making Batik. It is really amazing! They make it by their own hands. It is real hand-made.
Barong & Keris Dance starts at 9.30am. The entrance fee costs IDR 100,000 (Approximately  S$12) per person. The Barong play represents an enternal fight between good and evil spirit. A Barong (a mythological animal) represents good spirit and Rangda (a mythological monster) represents evil one. Balinese people also believed that the Barong is symbol of protector. There are many kinds of Barong, mostly is Barong cat, Barong Landung, Barong Macan (tiger face) Barong celeng (pig face)
It is common to see offerings on the roadside or on the floor.
Next we went to Ubud MarketThe Ubud market has two different parts - the traditional market located in the west of arts market, which sell daily food and open earlier. The arts market sell various of handicrafts, arts and textiles. I noticed that the selling price here even more higher to other places in Bali. Thus remember to negotiate the price before you pay.
Headed to rice terraces at Tegallalang Village. This rice terraces has beautiful view with coconut trees and river valley. Tegallalang Village well known with the village of handicrafts center specially for wholesale and export. Along the road, they sell variety of painted woodcarving with colorful designed.
We came to Batur Mount Volcano. This is my favorite place because I can enjoy cooling weather here. It located in Kintamani District - Bangli Regency. This is still active Volcano smoking all the time. There are many restaurant built surround the crater especially for lunch time.
What is the best coffee you can find in Indonesia? Of course Coffee Luwak (Chivet Cat Coffee). Now we able to stop a while at Bali Coffee Agrotourism for a few cup of free samples. You would be able to see various of plantation such as coffee arabica, coffee robusta, pineapple, Balinese snake fruite (salak), plain Balinese potatoes, star fruit, cacao, jack fruit, durian tree and etc.

This is Taman Ayun Temple. It is located in Mengwi Village, Mengwi sub district, Badung regency and about 18km north side of Denpasar town. It is strategically located beside of major roadway between Denpasar to Singaraja. Entrance fee is IDR 15,000 (Approximately S$ 2) per person.
The last destination of the trip is Tanah Lot TempleThe temple perched on a little rocky islet. This temple was built in 16th century by the Javanese priest Danghyang Nirartha who built many temple near the sea around the island such as Rambut Siwi Temple in west of Bali, Pulaki Temple and Ponjok Batu Temple in North of Bali.
To reach the temple, visitors must walk through a carefully planned set of Balinese market-format souvenir shops which cover each side of the path down to the sea. On the mainland cliff tops, restaurants have also been provided for tourists.
We returned to villa for our complementary body massage (which is already included in the package) after a long day trip. We felt so much relaxing and contented after massage. The massage ladies even prepare us a pool of floral bath. That's really great for my sore legs after the Ubud trip. ^__^
After massage we walked to La Sal Spanish restaurantThe ambiance is loungy, calm,  and amorous.  You'll dine by candle light. We really enjoyed our dinner here especially squid ink paellas. What a wonderful night we had!
This is really a memorable trip for us. We were so much relaxing and indeed enjoying every moment. Would love to visit Bali again!

Bali Day 3 - Uma Sapna Villa, Seminyak

[19 March 2011]
Had made 2 nights villa stays booking at Uma Sapna. It is highly recommended by my friend SW. It is truly great moment to stay there. I believe there are still many fascinated villas to be explored, but so far I love this the most! Actually we booked for one bedroom villa with private swimming pool, but they free-upgraded our room to 2 bedrooms Deluxe villa due to off-peak season. One of the room has been locked. The compound is much more bigger, with living space, kitchenette and garden landscape. Wow! truly in heaven. ^___^

After checked out of  Aston Kuta Hotel, villa staff fetched us to destination. When arrived, they welcomed us with a drink. Good thing to refresh us in this hot weather. The staff lead us to our room after check-up registration has been done. This is our room named "Papua" and our Queen-sized bed. I did mentioned to them that this is our pre-honeymoon trip, thus they have decorated our room with some surprises! ^__^
I rather stay in villa than went outside to stroll around Seminyak area. Hot burning sun makes me feel sleepy and sweating a lot. I was pickup a book and read in living space, while my dear was swimming in the pool. What a relaxing trip!
Complementary tropical fruits from Uma Sapna. Found this "snake fruit" quite interesting. Don't you think that it looks like snake skin?
We had our candle light dinner in villa. First time! ^__^ Lovely complementary honeymoon cake and house wine by Uma Sapna. The dinner was standard, but the ambient even better than in restaurant. The staff decorated the garden with candles. Sweet and romantic! Don't worry about mosquitoes bites because the staffs have been prepared mosquito-repellent coils in every corner of villa before turned dark. So far we did not "donate" any blood to mosquitoes. :P
Last but not least, they provide complimentary WIFI connection in villa.
